Car history: |
This is a 1969 roadster with both tops. It has a 427 hipo engine that I have just completed the rebuild. block number 3955270. heads 3931063. I installed a full roller valve train, balanced the rotating assembly and line bored 4 bolt main caps to top it off with ARP bolts and studs. Substantial work was done on the heads to include a complete valve job and 5/16 inch rod stems with brass inserts. This is a very powerful engine. I bought the car some years ago just because I had never seen another one like it until Barretts auto auction. It has from what I can see never been restored. It is mostly original. I have installe a MSD ignition a Eldelbrock torker II manifold, headers and a holly double bump carbureator. October 23, 2009. |
